Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Clinic
Fatigue is on the rise and is hitting patients hard.
Tired physically, tired mentally. Tired “all over.” Tried “everything.”
This is a common picture nowadays. A worrying picture. Muscle aches, gut disturbances, disturbed heart rates or rhythms, and a host of other systemic symptoms sometimes accompany the fatigue.
Sometimes it comes after major adverse events. Sometimes it comes after a viral or bacterial infection. Other times it comes after a medical or surgical intervention.
Patients end up trying medication after medication. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
When it does not and the symptoms persist, it can be the case that both brain and body need a more comprehensive approach.
An Integrative approach, where the healthcare provider looks beyond symptoms to the metabolics behind the clinical picture, to the possible sources of inflammation and stress for the different systems in the body, to the concealed problems draining the body of its resources and energy.
This is the approach provided at our Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) Clinic.
The CFS clinic is run by a team of Functional Medicine Practitioners.
